Submission Guidelines

1. Submissions are restricted to creations using New Art Academy software.
2. Each user can make as many submissions as they like.
3. Please do not submit pictures which contain a third party's intellectual property/copyrighted material (for example, the toy of a famous cartoon). It is permitted to use Nintendo's intellectual property/copyrighted material.
4. Please do not submit any pictures that infringe upon a third party's privacy or damage their reputation, or any pictures that are inappropriate in any way.
5. For the picture titles, please do not use any words that could infringe upon a third party's intellectual property/copyright, or that are inappropriate in any way.
6. Pictures you upload may be downloaded and edited by others, and shared with third parties.
7. Nintendo reserves the right not to publish pictures deemed inappropriate or to remove any inappropriate pictures. Inappropriate pictures are considered to be, in particular, but not limited to:
   • a. Pictures violating another person's publicity, privacy or portrait rights;
   • b. Pictures infringing of copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, patents or other proprietary rights of third parties. For example, we cannot accept drawings of game characters, for which Nintendo is not a copyright holder (such as Pokémon, Sonic or Professor Layton).
   • c. Pictures displaying Nintendo characters/items not included in this list: Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Donkey Kong, Yoshi, Toad, Wario, Bowser, Bowser Jr., Bullet Bill, Goomba, Koopa Troopa, Koopa Paratroopa and Boo. (See images here.)
   • d. Pictures which are defamatory, offensive, embarrassing, threatening, abusive, harassing, vulgar, obscene, hateful, sexually explicit, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable.
8. Nintendo, in its sole discretion, may also prohibit any other kinds of pictures deemed to be improper for this gallery.
9. A registration email will be sent in order to complete registration on the Online Gallery website.
